Meet The Team

Whittaker Dental is a strong and long standing team.  Dr. Whittaker is proud of the long tradition started by her father, Dr Larry Loughead, in 1961.  Dr. Loughead created an environment focused on patients and employees of the practice.  The team today has members who have literally worked together all their lives and have become a family.

Dr. Erin Whittaker joined her father’s dental practice in 1994 and is amazed 30 years have gone by.  I most enjoy the relationships I have made with my patients and have watched “the kids” grow up.  I am proud of the team I have developed and the quality dentistry that our doctors and staff have provided since 1961.  I have been a Columbus Monthly “Top Dentist” since 2015.  Many mouths have had our handiwork!  We are a high quality, efficient office, and dentistry is still my jam!  When I am not doing dentistry, I am outside running, biking, swimming, walking my golden retriever, and planning our next get together with our adult children.

I have been practicing dentistry at Whittaker Dental since 2008. I attended The Ohio State University earning a B.S. in Biochemistry and D.D.S. After graduating from Dental School and completing general practice residency in Youngstown, I practiced in the Cleveland-Akron area before moving back to Columbus. I enjoy all phases of general dentistry and I'm committed to growing my skills and knowledge through continuing education. I live near Worthington with my wife, two daughters, two dogs, and a cat named Bernie. I grew up in Orrville, Ohio, and cheer for the Guardians, Cavaliers and Browns, as well as the Buckeyes and Blue Jackets. In my free time, my family an I enjoy traveling, especially visiting National Parks in the U.S and Canada. I also enjoy attending my daughters’ musical performances.

An Ohio native, I received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ohio State University. I joined Whittaker Dental Group in 2013.  I would  describe myself as a lifelong student dedicating a significant amount of time to continuing education.  Some awards and affiliations include: Midwest Implant Institute, Fellow of the Midwest Implant Institute, Misch Resnik Institute, Spear Institute, International Team of Implantology, Vesper Institute- IV sedation/anesthesia certification. 

I reside in Upper Arlington, Ohio with my wife and three boys.  We lead an active lifestyle and love everything outdoors.  

Amber Campbell

Office Manager


I have been a part of the Whittaker Dental Group for more than half of my life. I was hired by Dr. Loughead in 1997. I have been the Office Manager since 2003. I have worn many hats in my 26 years at Whittaker Dental and I have enjoyed all of them. I am truly blessed to have Dr. Whittaker and her staff as my second family. I married my high school sweetheart, Robert, and have been married for 25 years. I have one son that will be starting his junior year at The Ohio State University this fall. Together we LOVE baseball! When I am not working you will find me at the baseball diamond.

I have been with Whittaker Dental Group for over 26 years. I think I have found my home. :)

I am an Ohio State graduate and enjoy all Buckeye sports. I live in Sunbury with my husband and three kids. Our girls keep us busy year round with volleyball which we love to watch. When we aren't home enjoying our backyard we love to travel to Disney.  As our kids are growing we are looking forward to new adventures.

I'm originally from Marietta, Ohio.  I moved to Columbus in 1978 to attend OSU.  I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 1981 and in 1987 received a B.S. in Education.

I currently live in Upper Arlington with my partner of 16 years, Keith and my dogs Monkey and Moon.  I like to garden, swim, kayak and spend time outdoors.

I have been working for Whittaker Dental Group since the spring of 2017.  I first entered the dental field in 2013, working for an endodontist in Worthington up until her retirement and my transition to the world of general dentistry.  I was born and raised in Columbus, graduating from Worthington Kilbourne High School and furthering my studies at OSU's Newark campus.  I married my high school sweetheart Ben in 2011 and we have lived in northwest Columbus ever since.

I love to read, cook, bake and travel-some of our favorite places are museums, botanical gardens, zoos/aquariums, and theme parks.

I'm a dental receptionist and have been working at Whittaker Dental Group for 6 year.  I have lived in Columbus for 44 years.  I enjoy spending time with my children, son-in-law, grandson and other family.

I grew up in Dayton Ohio.  I'm most proud to be "Mom" to four, 3 daughters and 1 son.  Also, a very proud alum of The Ohio State University! My husband and I reside in Powell.  We enjoy many sports and are now spending time watching our youngest on the lacrosse field. In my spare time I enjoy walking/running, reading, baking, sporting events and spending time with family and friends.

I started working at Whittaker Dental Group in 2006.  I first was Dr. Dilley's dental assistant and now work hand and hand with Dr. Whittaker.  I'm from Galloway.  I have 3 children. My girls keep me very busy with volleyball.  I enjoy photography, crafts and cats.

I was born in Washington CH Ohio, raised in Belpre Ohio and have lived in Waverly, Powell and presently, New Albany.  I became a dental assistant in 1980. I earned my DANB-CDA certification and continued my education at OSU, where I received my EFDA license from The Ohio State Dental Board in 1984. I am married to my sweetheart, Tony. I have four lovely adult children and four adorable grandchildren. When I am not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy walking, exercising and gardening. My husband and I recently remodeled a cabin in Hocking Hills.  We are looking forward to spending some time there!

I have been at Whittaker Dental Group since 2021. I'm Dr. Bixler's dental assistant.  This is the first office I have worked at and hopefully the only. I love my coworkers and our wonderful patients. My husband and I got married in October 2022 and live in Madison county.  In our free time we enjoy hanging out with family and friends  We also enjoy taking our Dalmatian, Winnie, to the dog park. Together, we are youth pastors at our church in London.
